I've Finally Done It!

Hello my Freaky Darlings!

I am pleased to announce that I have, at last, made my first ever YouTube video! 😄

The video is a "speed art" of me drawing my Emily Raven Crafts logo, with a cracking intense symphonic metal cover soundtrack to accompany. The music is one of my favourite classical pieces; In The Hall Of The Mountain King from Edvard Grieg's play Peer Gynt. The piece has been masterfully arranged and produced by FalKKonE^ into epic heavy metal classical awesomeness! 🤘

For the drawing of the logo, I first mapped out the hexagon frame onto cartridge paper using a Jakar compass. Next, I drew in the lines with pencil and ruler, then sketched in the design with pencil - Rotring Tikky mechanical pencil to be precise. 😜

Then I inked in the drawing with a black Sakura Pigma Micron fine liner size 08. Finally, I coloured in the larger areas of black with a Sharpie Fine Point marker.
