This is the last 13th of the year and the last Friday 13th until June next year, which will be the only Friday 13th in 2025!

A Bit of Pop Culture

Did you know that (in)famous stockbroker and author Thomas William Lawson wrote a novel, published in 1907, titled Friday, the Thirteenth?

The story tells of a fictional New York City stockbroker who plays on superstitions about the date to create chaos on Wall Street and not only make a killing on the stock market, but bring the whole thing to its knees!

I wonder if preying on superstitions to manipulate the stock market would work in this century? 🤔
